Who We Are
We are an organization with the purpose of being an effective voice and vehicle for the social and economic advancement of African-Americans in Indianapolis. Our mission is to promote and implement new and existing programs designed to encourage and meet the needs of youth and families in the Indianapolis Community.
In 1980, The Indy Chapter of Indiana Black Expo was organized because there was a great need to offer assistance and provide programming for the city of Indianapolis on a local level. The Indy Chapter is just one of twelve chapters in Indiana with the purpose of servicing their communities while keeping the spirit of Indiana Black Expo, Inc. alive throughout the year.
